A homemade Chicken Kiev, what could be more impressive!!!! This will look and taste great but is really quite easy.

Recipe:
2 Chicken Breasts
100g Butter, softened
2 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp Chopped Parsley
100g Flour
2 Eggs, beaten
200g Bread Crumbs
Salt and Pepper

Method

1. Pre-heat the oven to 200’c.

2. To make the butter filling: mix together the butter, garlic and parsley. Now, pop the mix in the fridge to firm up for 10 minutes or so.

3. Using a sharp knife, cut a little slit in the top of each chicken breast, pushing your knife in so it goes into the centre. Now spoon your garlic butter into these pockets, pushing the butter into the middle.

4. Place your flour, eggs and breadcrumbs into bowls. Place each breast into the flour, tapping off any excess, then into the egg and finally the breadcrumbs. Repeat to give the chicken a decent coating!

5. Place on a greased baking tray and bake for 30 minutes.

6. Serve with your favourite side dishes!

Note: Don’t worry if a little butter leaks out! See hints and tips on how to try and prevent this!
