    This is something my Mum used to make for us as kids to get us to eat vegetables and I've made it ever since. It’s great with sausages or a Sunday roast!

    Mashed Potato ~ makes 2 portions ~ Cost 50p

    Simple - and now you have no excuse for lumpy mash! Always buy either King Edwards or Maris Piper for mash!

    I love roasted Mediterranean vegetables with a piece of grilled meat or fish. Tossed in a salad or pasta or even in a sandwich with mozzarella and basil!

    Real chips - fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. The secret ingredient is the type of potato! I think King Edwards are the best, but Maris Piper or any other floury potato will do. Never leave a fryer/chip pan unattended and constantly check the temperature!
